GreenGridLabs sites serve a narrow, high-value band of compute: foundation-model training, large-scale inference, scientific simulation and enterprise AI. Density, cooling, heat recovery and grid coupling are all consequences of a single decision — knowing the workload before the site is built.

Tenant profile.

Tenants on GreenGridLabs sites run high-performance computing and artificial intelligence workloads — foundation-model training, large-scale inference, scientific and industrial simulation, enterprise research clusters. Each tenant enters through a framework agreement with the local operating entity, presents a defined workload profile and operates within the parameters agreed at onboarding. That is the scope of the site, and that is the customer it was built for.

This narrow mandate is not a constraint — it is what makes the economics work. The best Nordic sites for clean power, grid services and heat recovery are the ones where the workload is known in advance. Rack layout, cold-plate selection, cooling-loop design and waste-heat offtake all depend on knowing what the hardware will do every hour of every day.

Three outcomes follow from a predictable workload profile — and all three are reasons a customer selects a purpose-built site over generic colocation:

How onboarding works.

A new tenant engages through the local operating entity — not a remote sales desk. The process is straightforward: counterparty screening against the consolidated EU sanctions list and relevant national lists, a workload-profile review with the local engineering team, and a contractual schedule defining the envelope for hosted capacity. All documentation is retained for the duration of the contract plus the statutory retention period, managed by the same team that operates the site.

Short-notice capacity requests follow the same process. We prefer to say "not this quarter" rather than compress the procedure — and serious customers consistently prefer that discipline to the alternative.

Narrow is a feature, not a limitation. Every efficiency metric, every grid service and every kilowatt of heat a site is designed to deliver to a local network depends on one thing: knowing the workload in advance and engineering the site around it.

Outlook.

HPC and AI are the workloads hardest to serve in a generic hosting footprint and easiest to serve in infrastructure engineered around them. As the next generation of Nordic sites comes online, this is the lane GreenGridLabs is building for — customers whose compute demand is growing faster than the sector can build power, and who value a site where grid services and heat recovery are part of the product, not a marketing claim.
